On Friday, Alexandria Real Estate Equities Inc. said it priced a follow-on public offering of 3.3 million common shares at $84 a share.

The real estate investment trust had originally intended to offer 3 million shares. Underwriters can buy up to 495,000 additional shares to cover any over-allotments, Alexandria said in a statement.
