Legislation on the Full Disclosure on Real Estate Prices PDF Print E-mail
Saturday, 13 May 2006

A proposal was recently presented by a Texas lawmaker. The proposal was a legislation that will require full disclosure on real estate prices in every state.

The chief sponsor of the legislation was Sen. Jeff Wentworth of San Antonio. The legislation that would require full disclosure to the taxing authorities of the sales price of a property is the SB 37.

Wentworth stated that the legislation would be for the benefit of the homeowners. He said that the homeowners are the ones who are carrying the burdens. The commercial properties are not paying their fair share of taxes and the homeowners are the ones who are sacrificed.
