Prudential to Open Real Estate Web Metrics PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 12 May 2006

A new service will be launched by Prudential Real Estate Affiliates. This service will allow home sellers to monitor virtual visitors to online property listings.

Real estate agents of Prudential can now register for the service. The service is called Online Seller Advantage. The Online Seller Advantage will allow real estate agents to provide detailed Web traffic statistics to their clients.

Statistics will be based on the online property searches at Yahoo! On the other hand, clients will be able to receive information about new property listings in their area. Daily e-mails discussing web statistics will be sent to consumers who participate in the program.

Yahoo! Inc. and Prudential had an agreement in 2004 where Prudential brokers supply property listings for display at the Yahoo! Real Estate site. Prudential also launched an online platform in 1999 that connects real estate professionals and consumers.

Many of Prudential real estate agents say that the new program allows them to inform clients about the local market conditions.
